The Cannes Lions, 2013

The 61st Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity is happening right now, and that reminded me that I never wrote up my experience there last year.

Here’s the short version:

1. 1. I was asked to create an exhibit with the theme of “A Collection of Collections.”
   2. I flew over there exactly a year ago today.
   3. The show included found objects, books, videos, music, photography, design, sculpture, antiques, ephemera, illustration, and more.
   4. Met the fantastic Stephanie Imbeau and Julian Brown, the two other artists in the show.
   5. It was a blast.
